On Wednesday, Arts Every Day partnered with Baltimore City Public Schools for our inagural End of Year Awards Night & Celebration! We celebrated the end to a great school year with fun, food, music and some great raffle prizes courtesy of several local businesses.
This year, we also recognized excellence in teaching by honoring outstanding Fine Arts Educators for their impactful contributions to the field. Over 120 nominations were submitted by teachers, principals, students, parents, and community members who voted for teachers in the fields of Visual Art, Media Arts, General Music, Instrumental Music, Choral Music, Theater, and Dance.

Of those nominees, 20 teachers were given awards to recognize their exceptional leadership and impact in and out of the classroom. Disciplines awarded were Dance, Instrumental Music, General Music, Choral Music, Theater, Media Arts, Visual Arts, as well as Leadership, Advocacy, and Mentorship.
