The students have a new respect for fashion and design. They now have a larger understanding of the process of making something. Iam able to teach them a multitude of new lesson that they wil be able to use for their future and have the knowledge to enjoy the process and outcome of any item that has been hand created.
The outcome from the support from Arts Every Day has been staggeringly positive in comparison to what Iexpected. The depth in which the students have cared and opened themselves up to learning was fully unexpected. They would have never had this learning experience without the support from Arts Every Day.
The Maggies McIntosh Arts Equipment Fund is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Maryland State Department of Education and the Baltimore City and the Pimlico Community Development Authority.
