Teaching Artist Cori Dioquino and BAIP Manager Rachael Barillari use theater strategies create a culture of belonging through the grade 3 Wit & Wisdom unit "The Sea." Students will learn how to physicalize sea creatures, their traits, and environment, bringing this vibrant unit to dramatic and joyful life.

Musicians Dan and Claudia Zanes join Baltimore City science teacher, Tessa Berens, for a music-based exploration of Genetics, Variation, Adaptation, and Evolution. Using musical traits as the foundation, students will gain a concrete understanding of the SABES grade 3 unit "What Makes Me, Me?".

Students sing, sort, and drum through lessons on insects while exploring teamwork and music-making with musicians Dan and Claudia Zanes. Aligned with SABES Grade 1 "Insect Encounter" Unit.
