The founder is a proud alumna of Morgan State University, and our team of creative instructors and educators is committed to creating inclusive learning environments that encourage curiosity, confidence, self-expression, and lifelong learning for students of all backgrounds.

Is there a particular program you’d like to highlight? What makes it special?

We would like to highlight our Creative Wellness & STEAM Lab, an arts-integrated program where students explore creativity, science, design, and entrepreneurship through hands-on product creation. Using projects such as soap making, candle making, body care products, and other creative design experiences, students discover how art connects with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while expressing their unique ideas.What makes this program special is that it goes beyond creating a finished product. Students engage in the complete creative process—imagining, designing, experimenting, revising, and reflecting—while learning how artists, designers, and entrepreneurs use creativity to solve problems and improve everyday life. Our sessions encourage curiosity, artistic expression, collaboration, and critical thinking, allowing students to make meaningful choices and take pride in their work.Our creative educators provide an inclusive, supportive environment where every learner is encouraged to explore, create, and grow. Activities are differentiated to meet the needs of diverse learners and can be customized for grades K–12, making the program accessible to a wide range of schools and community settings.Students leave each experience with a handcrafted creation they are proud of, along with strengthened confidence, communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a deeper appreciation for the arts as a powerful tool for learning, self-expression, and innovation. By blending visual arts with STEAM, wellness, and entrepreneurship, this program demonstrates how creativity can inspire lifelong learning and help students recognize the value of their ideas and the impact they can have on the world around them.

Mindful Flames Creative Experience is committed to making high-quality creative learning experiences accessible to all students and school communities. We understand that schools have different needs, schedules, and resources, and we work collaboratively with educators to design programs that align with their goals, student populations, and available funding.We offer flexible programming options, including single-session workshops, multi-week residencies, after-school programs, family engagement experiences, and take-home creative kits. All supplies and materials are included; no additional purchases needed.We welcome partnerships with schools. We are on a mission to provide meaningful enrichment opportunities for students. We are willing to consider customized pricing, Title I funding considerations, grant-supported opportunities, and other solutions to bring creative programming to more learners.Our programs are designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind. Activities can be adapted for different grade levels, learning styles, and student needs.
