This August, Arts Every Day was delighted to welcome over 40 educators to our annual Summer Arts Integration Conference! This was our first fully in-person conference since 2019 which took place at City Neighbors High School over the course of 2 days. Participants had the opportunity to choose from 21 different engaging workshops on integrating the arts with a variety of content areas and grade levels as well as overarching big ideas such as social emotional learning.

We were honored to also host two incredible keynote speakers- artist, poet and educator Unique Robinson, and musician, arts leader, and Baltimore Children and Youth Fund Director, Alysia Lee, who both inspired and enlivened our community at the start of each day. This year also saw a return to our Arts Partners Fair, an informational opportunity for educators and principals to meet and connect with over 20 Arts and Cultural Partners to start building strong foundations for meaningful collaboration during the school year.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring together this great community of educators, arts and culture partners, and local stakeholders all in support of arts education. It was truly a delight to witness so much creativity, collaboration, and engagement before the start of the school year. We are looking forward to continuing to learn from and engage with attendees as City Schools teachers join us for implementation reflection sessions this fall to collaboratively share how their conference experience is living in their teaching practice this year!
