SUMMARY:Photography Teacher PD
DESCRIPTION:Join Arts Every Day and Angela Carroll for a virtual teacher professional development workshop! \nAngela N. Carroll\, Lead Curator for the Historical Photography Project of the Black Arts District (“BAD”)\, will lead a workshop to introduce Baltimore City middle school and high school teachers to BAD’s new curriculum: SnapShots: Preserving Cultural Memory through Photos. SnapShots was designed to highlight gaps in West Baltimore’s community history by asking the questions: Who preserves history? Who makes history? What do I want to preserve? How can I preserve history? Where can these histories live? Teachers will learn how to implement the SnapShots curriculum and develop archival photography projects with their students.
