Why should teachers and students be excited about your program?
Dramatic Play is an experience. Imagination and play are the heart and soul of the company. Imaginative Play is where we all began exploring, creating, and learning. It’s so simple, but many forget.
Is there a particular program you’d like us to highlight? What makes it special?
The Spider and the Crocodile is an original Anansi Story written by Khaleshia Thorpe-Price. This story is presented as an intimate shadow-puppetry performance. Performances are done on a small scale in individual classrooms.
The performance includes audience participation, sign language, and physical storytelling. In addition, the audience will use their bodies to physicalize the the characters and the setting.
