Every year, we hear from our teachers that one of the barriers in providing quality arts learning is one simple thing: supplies. To get ready for the school year, you can support our teachers during our School Art Supply Week August 27-31, 2018!
We are partnering with the Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap so that teachers can access FREE art supplies year round. Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap equips teachers, schools, and educational programs with classroom supplies.
There are two ways to help:
Donate Supplies.
Drop off art supplies to Arts Every Day during School Art Supply Week (August 27th-31st) and we will donate the supplies to the Teacher Supply Swap on your behalf!
Drop Off Hours:
Monday-Friday, August 27th-31st, 9am-5pm.
Our office is at the Motor House on 120 W. North Avenue, Baltimore MD 21201.
Sponsor a Teacher Membership.
Teachers who have memberships at the Teacher Supply Swap get access to free supplies for a year. Donate on www.artseveryday.org/donate and in the acknowledgements line, write “Teacher Supply Membership.” You can sponsor at any time.
Memberships for teachers this year is $40. Donations will go towards helping cover the costs of memberships.
Supply Suggestions:
Musical Equipment: musical instruments, cd player, sound equipment
Technology: camera, tablets, laptops, printers
Utensils: crayons, markers, pencils, pastels
Paper: construction paper, drawing paper
Paint Supplies: canvas, boards, paint, paintbrushes, easels
Performing Equipment: dance shoes, dance/yoga mats
Adhesives: glue, tape, spray adhesive
Classroom Materials: aprons/ smocks, scissors, poster boards
3D Materials: clay, play dough, glaze, fabric
