Here are some general guidelines for getting started with the Arts Every Day website:
Create an Account
Arts Every Day is working to build a community that is working toward ensuring that every Baltimore City Public Schools child has access to the arts every day. We hope you'll join the community and join the efforts.
Sign up for eBlasts
Periodically, e-mails will be sent when something of particular interest arises. When signing up for our newsletter, you can also click on multiple eBlasts. Even if you are an educator, feel free to sign up for the community members/foundations or parents eBlasts! We promise that these e-mails will not clog up your mailbox. They are sent only when appropriate.
Explore the Programs Directory
The Programs Directory houses hundreds of programs offered by arts and cultural institutions, with VSC alignment clearly specified. The search engine allows you to choose audience (including Educators), type of program, grade, art form, non-art subject matter, and more. There's also a FREE button.
Explore the Fun Guide
All family-friendly events from the Baltimore Fun Guide are fed to the Arts Every Day website. Through this calendar, educators and parents can find programs from all over the region that are appropriate for school-age children. While on this page, make sure to sign up for 1/2 price offers from the Fun Guide. Once a week, you will receive an e-mail of events that are offering 1/2 price tickets or 2-for-1 tickets for the upcoming week. Take yourself out and get a deal at the same time!
Important: Please note this website runs best using Internet Explorer 7.0, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and Safari 3.0 browsers. If you are a teaching artist or cultural organization creating an account and using an unsupported browser (such as Internet Explorer 6.0), we recommend you upgrade as you may experience technical difficulties when entering the VSC standards into your programming.
Please contact us with any additional concerns, question, ideas, and thoughts. If you do not find the answers you need here or are unsure which staff person to address, please e-mail info@artseveryday.org or call us (410) 685-1172 and we will do our best to help.
