The Maryland Chapter of Young Audiences/Arts for Learning (YA) is a nonprofit charitable organization devoted to enriching the lives and education of Maryland’s youth, educators, and families through educational and culturally-diverse arts programs. The nation’s premier arts-in-education organization, Young Audiences was founded in Baltimore in 1950. Young Audiences has developed into a network of more than 30 chapters in 24 states. Collectively, Young Audiences reaches more than six million youth, educators, and families across the United States.
